These are the first tombstone photos I have seen of this cemetery. I’d like your permission of copy them and place them with the records at the Held-Poage Research Library in Ukiah. Also, you will find other tombstone photos for this family on my web site. Feel free to use any that you wish.

    Phil,

Sorry for not getting back with you sooner. I have been out of town. You may copy anything on this website for the Held-Poage Research Library or for yourself. I am assuming you are referring to the Howard Family Ranch Cemetery. I visited this cemetery several times over the past 20 years and it seems to be deteriorating a little more each time I visit it. I see references in past records that indicates that there are up to 30 gravesites there. One reference indicated that the local public library had this information. The last time my wife and I passed through town we stopped at the library. They indicated that they didn’t have a genealogy department and that all the genealogy stuff got transfered to the Held-Poage Research Library. Do you know anything about this? We have been trying to find out who is buried at the ranch cemetery. It would be really nice to somehow get it cleaned up and restored. And maybe get sometype of signage about the history of this cemetery and who is buried there.

Thank you for sharing the information that you have on your website. I have reviewed and found your site very helpful in the past.
